Music weaves itself into the fabric of our emotions, dances through the corridors of memory, and whispers to the soul of who we are. Sharing these stories deepens the connection, turning the experience into something timeless and profound.

Many thanks Butterboy for these bunches. I am checking and I had most of these but always I found a few that skipped my attention. It is nice to see that still good music is made in our era!
ReplyDeleteHi Little Bill.
DeleteAlways great to hear that even when you’ve got most of a set covered, it’s those few stray gems that make the digging worthwhile. And yes, there’s still plenty of good music being made, it just hides better these days.
Cheers.
Hello BB,
ReplyDeleteI confess, with the exception of Van Morrison, I don't even know the names of the other ones :)
.... which makes me curious to listen to them.
I find that after a certain age (whether 30, 40, 50, 60, 70...) many people -including me- have hard time to explore and listen to new types of music (or new artists)...
Your blog - i.e., your dedication, your passion for music and for sharing- helps us fighting our musical laziness and encourage our curiosity.
Cheers
Giulio
Hi Giulio.
DeleteThat’s one of the nicest things you could say, thank you.
And you’re right, it does get harder to push ourselves into unfamiliar territory as the years stack up.
The comfort of what we already love grows stronger, and the energy to chase the unknown can fade a little.
But that spark of curiosity you mention is still there, and if these Lucky Dips help nudge it awake now and then, that makes the whole project worthwhile. I hope a few of these names become new favourites once you dive in.
Cheers.
This is such a great series, thank you again for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to post such sets, pujwa.
DeleteEnjoy every moment.
Cheers.
