The band sued Jones, and the money he paid the band provided the seed money for Beserkley, one of the first indie music labels.

  2. Always a fan of the Beserkley Recods Label.

    How about a "Beserkley" Collection?
Rubinoos......Jonathan Richman - Modern Lovers etc.

    Cheers

    1. Oooooh. I like your thinking Stephen.
Lets see what I can do . The label had a relatively small roster of artists so a smaller compilation set may be worth a go. Or simply a set of albums for Lucky Dips.
      Cheers.

    2. Lets go for both!

There were some Beserkley released compilations in different parts of the world which were pretty good, and of course some great albums (and singles) by individual artists.
Im a huge Rubinoos and Modern Lovers fan as well as others.

      Cheers

  4. Hi BB,
The tracks from Earth Quake - Why Don't You Try Me [1972] are missing :(
The folder name indicates that it contains both Earth Quake & Why Don't You Try Me, but contains only the first album...
I thought you might like to know.

    1. Hi Big Dave.
      My apologies.
It is only the first album. Why Don't You Try Me [1972] will appear in another set.
      Cheers.
