This continues the new series "In the Charts 1966" ... visiting the tracks that are familiar and forgotten.

ReplyDeleteHi doors97426,
DeleteAfter December... What to choose?
Cheers
Thanks BB
ReplyDeleteI vote for 1967 next, but it's too close I think.
Thanks, lemonflag.
Delete1967 is a great year but agree it may be a little too close. Possibly come back to 1967 next time around.
I was thinking 1973 (50 years ago).
Cheers.
Brilliant as ever! !963 would be really interesting - the difference between the UK and US charts of that year is probably the greatest ever! Many thanks again, Paul
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul.
DeleteThis series was fun to put together, so the others should be fun too.
Cheers.
Well, You did me a big favor by doing 1966 this year, and I thank you for that!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, let's go back to another year -- 60 years ago - 1963!!!
I know, So much good music that was recorded between the years 1956 and 1967.
What a decade of music!!!! Some original material and some updated and refined music from the 30's and 40's ( Blue Moon by the Marcels is my favorite example )
But again, thank you for your contributions to keeping the good music alive.
JOM
Thanks, JOM.
DeleteDecember 1966 will be posted W/E 4 December 2022.
Not sure when the next set will take place but 1963 sounds good to me.
Cheers.
