Great selection, most are welcome & liked but listening through the ears of nostalgia I was enjoying them more than I did at the time!! This album will please anyone who was a kid in the 70s - so nostalgic with a nice balance of different styles of melodic tunes from our day! A good balance between commonly played and some great songs that have been forgotten. Pure joy to listen to!

The second in this series of the 70s Pop Albums and although not quite as good as the first set, still has some great 70s tracks on here. Although a word of caution as I have already heard a couple of re-recordings of hits on here, one of them especially the Paper Lace Billy Don't Be A Hero was basically impossible to listen to as it sounded like the lead singer was out of tune with the backing (which I'm certain he wasn't on the original) and it was blatantly a re-recording as he sounded much older. It's so sad when they do this on 60s and 70s comps and don't admit to it on the cover. Either that or whoever compiled the album wasn't aware that some of the tracks were re-recordings. (Maybe K will fix that someday. (Smiles))

On the up-side the majority of the tracks are the original versions and to me sound like they have not been 'brick-walled' and over compressed, so the sound quality is generally very good. It does include a few tracks you don't hear on other 70s comps too, so worth it for the few tracks that aren't the 'usual suspects'. The cover appealed to my nostalgic tastes and this one seems in general like a decent sequel. (Amazon)

These albums will please anyone who was a kid in the 70s - so nostalgic with a nice balance of different styles of melodic tunes from our day!
