U2 'Medium, Rare & Remastered is a 2009 Twenty-track limited edition FANCLUB ONLY 2-CD album set. A compilation of rarities and remastered tracks, featuring tracks that were released as part of The Complete U2 digital box set, session tracks, bonus discs of remastered albums and single B-sides. Each disc housed in a custom card sleeve, with outer picture slipcase, and a fold-out poster inside! [U2.com4]
Owning this set is worth it simply for the pleasures of listening to Native Son, All Because of You (a different and, in my opinion, far superior version to the album version), Levitate, and Trash, Trampoline, and the Party Girl. These four songs excel, especially Native Son. Wow! What a captivating, powerful, and politically charged song! Vertigo (the song Native Son eventually became) will seem boring after you listen to it! This is one of those things that die-hard fans will enjoy, and so will people who don't necessarily like U2. It has a wide variety of songs and the "B" sides to various singles or EP's. This album is what it says it is. Medium, Rare and Remastered. (Amazon)
