WHO
Who - The Story Of The Who [1976] (2 x LPs)
The Story of The Who is a 2-LP compilation album from the Who. The British branch of Polydor released the double-album compilation in 1976. The album reached number two in the UK charts. Another version of this collection with a different track listing was also released in Japan. This collection has not been released on CD. The exploding pinball machine comes from film shot for a TV advertisement of the album. John Entwistle didn't think the album was truly definitive. The Who could only release the tracks that they had the rights to.
The album was heavily promoted in the UK via TV advertising using this great commercial created by advertising agency McCann-Erickson featuring the exploding pinball machine as seen on the album cover and the distinct voice-over by the inimitable DJ, John Peel. (Video above)

DeleteMissing "Fiddle About" - s/b Track 17 (26 tracks total - 7+6+8+5)
ReplyDeleteHi Spidey.
DeleteThey are all there. The rip process combined, "The Acid Queen" / "Do You Think It's Alright?" They are on the same track (15). "Fiddle About" is the track after that.
Cheers.
