Thanks for this BB - I spent my teenage years in Oz, so this brings back memories - Your Mummy Would Not Like It and Norman Gunston (some of Norm's material would not go amiss)..... I met Ted Mulry at Perth airport - he was a real gent with time to chat to a teenage fanboy.
ReplyDeleteHi davidmulhouse.
DeleteGlad to hear that this set brings fond memories to you.
Great times were to be had. From teenager into young adult, with free minds but poor fashion sense.
Cheers.
Didn't realize that Mi-Sex was from Australia. Been a long time since I've played that album. Thanks for what you do!
ReplyDeleteThey indeed were, Rod Stasick.
DeleteAustralia has a fondness for adopting New Zealand acts. Especially after they made it in Australia.
Cheers.
This is basically my teenage years which I still think was the best time for music - but then I'm biased! - thanks BB
ReplyDeleteHi Dr Robert.
DeleteMost people our age or who reveled in the seventies are biased. It was a great time for music.
Cheers.
Hi BB, great comp with some very fond and some not-so-fond memories of younger days (so it goes).... But, I can't get Vol 1 CD2 to play properly, or to tweak tags so (for example) Album Artist reads "BB comp" rather than "Various Artists". Makes my life easier than 50000 VA tags for playback. Could you have a look please? I use Media Human converter and Tagger on MacOS, which normally do the tricks needed. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Roger.
DeleteSorry to hear you had problems with CD2 of Volume 1.
I have downloaded the file and listened to it. I have seen no issues.
Also, the tagging is as it should be. It does not appear the way you have described.
I am unable to help further as I don't see any issues. Please try to download the file again see if that works.
Cheers.
Australian music from the 70's unknown to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Butterboy!! ┌(˘⌣˘)ʃ
You're welcome, Persistente Concha.
DeleteI hope there are some new gems to be found in this lot.
Cheers.
Always wanted to jump into the Australian Pop scene, so thanks BB!!
ReplyDeleteHi WF.
DeleteWhat have you been waiting for?
Enjoy every moment.
Cheers.
