Some albums use both "Hare Krishna" and "Be-In" in the title, some don't--these are listed in the way they are on the individual albums. Items of note: Stan Kenton, easily the oldest guy involved here, was from a generation that didn't advertise drug usage, so I thought it interesting the more controversial lyrics referring to marijuana or getting high or dropping out were replaced by "la la." And speaking of vocals, listen to the joyless rendering of the Boston Light Operatic Society. Talk about flat! The Shaftesbury Theatre track is interesting for a couple of reasons--the nightly after show rave-ups were almost as popular as the show itself, and this production of "Hair" was the stage debut of both Tim Curry and Richard O'Brien, who met here and would collaborate on "The Rocky Horror Show," though you can't hear either of them in the ensemble. A couple of the cast albums also combined "Where Do I Go?" with "Hare Krishna," this sort of mash-up being common with "Hair." Listen for the incredible bass solo from the Broadway Matadors as well as the addition of "Burn it!" (referring to the onstage burning of a draft card) from the 50th anniversary cast. I also included versions by lyricists James Rado & Gerome Ragni as well as Galt MacDermot, who wrote the music. Their takes aren't particularly different, but they're interesting. Djent (/dʒɛnt/) is a subgenre of progressive metal, termed for an onomatopoeia of the guitar sound that characterizes it.  Djent as a style is characterized by progressive, rhythmic, and technical complexity accompanied by a use of polymetric groove. It typically features heavily distorted, palm-muted guitar chords, syncopated riffs, and poly-meters alongside virtuosic solos. Only Various Artists compilations will be accepted.

Only one compilation per week from each contributor with a limit of 25 tracks per track list per submission. (Total 25 tracks only). You can submit a new track list the following week.

The Topic is your choice, Genre is your choice and any music is acceptable. (If readers don't like the topic or choices then they don't have to pick them up)

 When presenting your submission, the Topic of your compilation should be Noted as well as the sound quality of the compilation. (i.e., 320Kbps MP3, Flac, etc).

Whilst most would prefer MP3's @ 320 kbps all I request is a good sound quality. 

A track list must be supplied together with a LINK for your Compilation.  (Please do not send the compressed file)

Artwork is not necessary but would be welcomed. All submissions need to arrive via email to:

Entries must be received by Midnight, Wednesday. (Wherever you are in the world.)

Once received, your entries will be checked for content matching the track lists provided. If an entry is considered unsafe or different to the track list provided it will be deleted. If your submissions are outside the guidelines they will not be included (No questions asked and no reply)
