THE OTHER GREATEST SONGWRITERS
The Other Greatest Songwriters CD1 - CD4 (A Butterboy Compilation) (4 x CD's)
This set continues from the 100 greatest Songwriter (previously posted).
In 2015 Rolling Stone magazine published their 100 best songwriters of all time and included many of the modern greats such as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Kanye West and Joni Mitchell. There were some interesting less popular choices (thank goodness John Prine made it, although at an absurdly low position 94, and the late Merle Haggard) and who could argue with Van Morrison, Carole King or Randy Newman? But there were some major omissions. So here is an alternate list of the best 100 songwriters not included in the Rolling Stone 100.
When you see this list, you will shake your head saying "why wasn't that artist included the RS list"
Here are 100 OTHER Greatest Songwriters.

What a list (shaking my head) :) I bet you could easily double it and still have more from your collection BB!! Makes you realise, don't listen to other supposedly knowledgable people pretending to be critics etc, listen instead to your own ears haha. Just my P.O.V. :)
ReplyDeleteEasily doubled, looking outside to other genres etc.
