That was the producer who produced a couple of my solo albums. He produced my second, third and fourth solo albums. It was his project and I just joined him on it. I sang on one and played bass on another one.

ReplyDeleteJeff Lynne knows what he's talking about, the Artists had a sense of melody, the songs ran through your head for several weeks after their release, whether it was folk, blues or rock'n'roll. It was Lester Bangs who called Lou Reed a wanker, and Lou said, "Why don't you put out a song like Wooly Bully and then we'll see...
