  3. Many thanks for all of these. I have Die Mensch Maschine & Trans Europa Express (in German) on CD. It's really interesting to hear these songs in their native language. Kraftwerk, for me, the best thing to come out of Germany... EVER!

  4. And when looking at the files I noticed that the Electric Cafe album has been renamed "Techno Pop".

    1. “Electric Café” and “Techno Pop” are not the same song, but they are closely related. “Electric Café” is the title track of Kraftwerk’s 1986 album, which was originally intended to be called "Techno Pop". The album was later re-released in 2009 under its original working title, "Techno Pop"
The album features a suite of tracks that include “Electric Café” and “Techno Pop” are both listed as one of the songs. So, while they are part of the same album and share thematic elements, they are distinct tracks.
      Cheers

  5. I've followed them and seen them many times since 1970 (I'm literally wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with the cover of their first LP with the red pylon) and this is a wonderful collection of their current reworkings of their catalog going back to their 4th album. The Disney Concert Hall (mentioned above) was a real highlight of my life next to seeing them on the Autobahn tour in '75.

    1. Hi Rod Stasick.
It sounds like you've had an incredible journey with Kraftwerk. Wearing that t-shirt must bring back so many memories. Their ability to rework and breathe new life into their catalog is truly impressive. And seeing them on the Autobahn tour in '75. That's legendary! It's amazing how their music continues to evolve and captivate audiences. Keep rocking to those unforgettable moments.
      Cheers.

Lots of great pics and an informative article. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/nov/19/kraftwerk-autobahn-50-epic-road-trip-electronic
