    Robbie Basho - Amirkhanian interview.

    Heres a good (short) story"
Guitarist Henry Kaiser said he was going to see a Robbie Basho show in Berkeley in the late 70s when he came across the forlorn musician in front of the venue.
    “There’s nobody here,” Basho said.
“Well I’m here,” replied his dedicated fan.
So he got a private show!

One of the (many) underrated musicians to have graced our ears.

    Cheers
    Stephen

    1. Hi Stephen,
Robbie Basho is underrated and undervalued by many, not all> I am one of those that wish I had more Robbie Basho. Great story by the way. I also like Henry Kaiser, Willard's used to promote his work. A great site.
      Cheers.
PS Thank you for the quote now and always.

    2. I take it you refer to "Willard's Wormholes" ?......I discovered his(?) supurb selections only a few years before his abrupt stop. Maybe the best ever!? Its such a shame that the links could not have been handed on to another to keep them going. A sadly missed resource.

      Unless you know different?

      Cheers
      Stephen

    3. Willard's Wormholes introduced to me to so much good music--It was a gold mine. I also discovered it late, and wish I could go back to it now. Fortunately, we have Butterboy to carry the torch!

    4. Hi Stephen,
The site vanished into the ether. The memories are still there.
I think He/She may have been an alien...🛸
      Cheers.
