VA - Martin Freeman and Eddie Piller Present Jazz on the Corner Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 [2018+2020] (4 x CD's)

When Acid Jazz founder Eddie Piller asked actor Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, Sherlock, The Office) to do a jazz radio show, they could hardly imagine the response. From around the world emails and tweets inundated the hosts and they swore to themselves that they couldn't leave it there. Now, two years on, this compilation of their favorite jazz has arrived. From the rolling hard bop of Lee Morgan and Art Blakey to the postmodern spiritual jazz of Kamasi Washington, this is an incredible journey. Available on double CD and Vinyl with deluxe gatefold packaging, this album launches Acid Jazz's 30th Anniversary celebrations.

A follow up to 2018's Jazz On The Corner which has now sold over 10,000 copies, and last year's equally successful Soul On The Corner, this compilation see Martin and Eddie return to the world of jazz for another bite at the cherry after Volume one was declared to be "the best jazz compilation of the last 20 years"  (Amazon)
