Hi Stephen.
DeleteI like chucking these in from time to time.
Cheers.
My Dad bought this when it came out as it was a 'stereo demonstration' lp. One of the best and certainly an amazing thing when it came out and has warm memories for me! Do you have any of the early Decca Phase 4 lps?
ReplyDeleteHi Paul.
DeleteGlad to hear that the memories are strong for this set. I have a bunch of Decca Pase 4 LP's. Which LP's are you interested in?
Cheers.
Thanks. Don't know why that happened, must have hit a wrong button.

DeleteHave a great day, lemonflag.

This lp appeared in the states as a 'Blue back' most of the London Blue Backs ( Powder Blue Colour back) are considered as very desirable items by the audiophile community., specially Earnest Ansermet ( one of the few artists) who did a great service to the label. I must have walked 'million miles' in search of these, as well as when I was a student in the UK to Oxford street HMV for good ol' Decca SXL/ Columbia SAX stereos. ... Thanks Butter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that story, Professor.
DeleteIt heartwarming to hear that these posts bring joy to some.
Cheers.
