INSTRUMENTALS ROCK Pt.1

VA - Instrumentals by Non-Instrumental Artists Vol. 01 (A Butterboy Compilation) CD1+CD2+CD3

Instrumentals are not new to pop and rock. There have been many hit singles from instrumental bands that have delighted all when heard. On occasion Rock artists with capable singers have hit songs with an instrumental track, some are used for soundtracks, but these instrumental tracks rival the otherwise vocal band or artists' other music. The tracks presented in this compilation are mainly from the Pop and Rock genres. All of these presented artists/bands feature singers with great vocal talent, but here are the tracks where they have decided to let the instruments do the talking.

Don't kill me - With the exception of a few tracks containing some words these are ostensibly instrumental tracks represented in Volume 1 of 3 volumes of "Instrumentals by Non-Instrumental Artists". Enjoy!

  1. Cool idea for a comp, Butterboy. I tend to like instrumentals by non-instrumental bands best because they're often among the more unique tracks found on albums. I get bored of most instrumental-only bands because songs begin to sound the same after awhile. Looking forward to listening to this. Thanks as always.

  2. The fact that New Orders Elegia is spaced between instrumentals by Paul Kelly and J J Cale pretty much sums up all the reasons I love this blog
