BB LUCKY DIP # 200
Lucky Dip's will be a mystery gift to those who choose to pick them up.
We've made it to 200 Lucky Dips. When I started this series, I thought it wouldn't be as popular as it has been. I am glad I stayed with it. So far, over 2,000 different pieces of music have been posted. I hope some finds have been lucky, or filled gaps in your collections, started you on a search of discovery or simply, just enjoyed... Cheers.
Today's topic: 2023, BEST SO FAR...
Stephen's Quote of The Day: "One night, when sitting cross-legged on the couch, after we had played a song, Karin looked up from her xylophone and said, ‘When we play music, it’s the only time I forget I have cancer’,” ... Robert Forster, wrote on Facebook.

Although I have enough compilations to last three lifetimes, I love your site and these Lucky Dip posts. You have introduced a lot of new artists/bands. Keep up the good work. If there's ANYTHING you're looking for, I may be able to help

I can't express how enjoyable the Lucky Dips are. There's nothing better than listening to a new-to-me artist, and I've been introduced to so much fantastic art through the Lucky Dips. Marcia Griffiths, David Werner, Cosmos Factory, Headstone, David Wiffen...all introduced to me via Lucky Dips. And that's just within the past month! There's so much good music out there that never got its due or is now forgotten. Thank you, Butterboy.
ReplyDeleteHi BG,
DeleteMy job is to offer lucky dips offer music that has somehow been missed some people. There is nothing better than finding new music, no matter how long ago it was made. I still find new music to enjoy! I truly appreciate your comment.
Cheers.
