Stephen's Quote of The Day: "The thing about the guitar is that it's such an emotional instrument, and I'm sure that people would much rather hear a guitar if it's played with emotion and feeling than just racing up and down the fretboard.” ... Steve Rothery (Marillion)

Prog Magazine is a British magazine that covers the latest news, features and reviews of progressive rock music and its related genres. It is published by Future, who also produce Classic Rock and Metal Hammer magazines. Prog Magazine was launched in March 2009 as a spin-off from Classic Rock and is edited by Jerry Ewing. Prog Magazine also organizes the annual Progressive Music Awards, which celebrate the achievements and innovations of prog artists and bands. The awards have been running since 2012 and have honored legends such as Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Rush, Steven Wilson, Rick Wakeman, Ian Anderson and many more. According to Discogs1, Prog Magazine issued physical CDs as a free gift with the magazine until issue 125. From issue 126 onwards, the magazine switched to a downloadable free digital sampler. Therefore, there were 125 CDs issued with the magazine.
