Music weaves itself into the fabric of our emotions, dances through the corridors of memory, and whispers to the soul of who we are. Sharing these stories deepens the connection, turning the experience into something timeless and profound.

Hi BB,
ReplyDeletethank you so much for this reupload - with a strong Italian touch !
In addition to the Easy Tempo (with the music from the Italian scene of 60s/70s) we've got Joe (Giuseppe) Venuti and Eddie Lang (born Salvatore Massaro), sons of Italian immigrants who participate in the early development of jazz music in the States...
Thanks again!
Giulio
Hi Giulio,
DeleteThis reupload really does carry a strong Italian thread. The Easy Tempo material shows just how rich and stylish the Italian 60s/70s scene was, full of that unmistakable blend of groove, melody and cinematic flair. And then you’ve got Venuti and Lang, two sons of Italian immigrants whose playing helped shape the very beginnings of jazz in the US. Their touch, their phrasing, that mix of elegance and fire… it’s wonderful to see how those roots travelled across continents and ended up influencing an entire musical language.
Thanks for highlighting that connection. It adds a beautiful extra layer to the listen.
Cheers.
