Thank you ! An amazing collection !
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome pujwa.
DeleteI agree a fascinating look at that wonderful period 1966-1969 in music history.
Cheers
This is right up my alley. Great work. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Konrad,
DeleteIts a wonderful genre . So much great music here.
Cheers
I had the second box, great stuff all around!
ReplyDeleteHi abyssinfinity,
DeleteGlad I can expand your collection, Both boxes are fabulous.
Cheers.
Thanks for these, Butter (and I agree with Konrad especially) - formative recordings from a formative period in my early life. Ahh...
ReplyDeleteHi Aging Child.
DeleteThese boxes get a lot of rotation listening from me. They are both wonderful to listen to.
There is some real breathtaking music nestled in amongst these tracks. (Prepositions can sometimes be a pain. I prefer Amongst vs. Among even though Spell Check say Its not right)
Happy listening
Cheers
"Amongst", "amidst", "firstly", etc. (vs. "among", "amid", "first"), are more British-/Commonwealth-usage, verus U.S.-. Just reset your spellcheck for "10 Downing Street", and your computer will make nary a quibble, methinks.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, music from our childhood serves as an inner time-machine, even bringing back into heart sight people and places long since passed behind us. So thank you again for a welcome return to the hippie university students I was hanging out with, and being taught by, way back when. I'm with you on the happy rotations!
Firstly, You are a gentleman amongst gentlemen. Secondly, amidst the plethora of wrong words I use I probably should take your advise and redirect my PC's dictionary to a UK version which is currently set on White House. Now I need to work on my use of commas et cetera (etc., etc, &c., or &c,) Oh which to choose....
DeleteEnjoy the music.
Cheers
I don't know how to say "LOL" in Britspeak, unless it's "haw-haw". So... guffaw, guffaw, ol' bean! ;-)
Delete:)
DeleteYour site is just amazing! THANK-YOU, for all your time, effort & energy. The Psychedelic & 60's stuff is great!
