The VA - Little Steven’s Underground Garage Presents, The Coolest Songs In The World! series is a collection of rock music compilations curated by Steven Van Zandt, also known as Little Steven, a musician, actor, and radio host. The series features songs that have been chosen by Van Zandt as the “Coolest Song in the World This Week” on his radio show Little Steven’s Underground Garage, which airs on Sirius XM and other stations around the world. The series showcases a variety of rock genres, such as alternative rock, garage rock, surf rock, rockabilly, glam rock, hard rock, and classic rock. The series also includes songs by legendary artists, such as The Ramones, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles, as well as new and emerging bands, such as The Greenhornes, The Mooney Suzuki, The Cute Lepers, and Man Raze. The series has released eight volumes so far, each containing 16 tracks (except CD1, 15 tracks).
