VA - In the Charts, 1971, June (A Butterboy Compilation) CD1+CD2+CD3

"In The Charts 1971" ... visiting the tracks that are familiar and forgotten.

All these tracks were in the US and/or UK charts in 1971.

It seems like yesterday we were dancing to these tunes. I hope you enjoy this mix of artists from USA and UK.

Note: Where there was a double A-side, both sides have been included.

  2. I turned 10 in June '71 so although I only appreciated music as I got older some of these like 'Eagle rock' did stick at the time - and I'm still convinced 1971 was the best year for Rock albums.

  4. It is always fun to see what other people chose to celebrate musical memories. BB choses these, I may have chosen different, but it's all fun. Thanks for shaking up my old head. (TC I'm with you I was 20 in 71!)

    1. Hi lemonflag.
Everyone’s choices reflect their own journey, and it’s always fascinating to see what resonates with different people. That’s the beauty of music, it’s deeply personal, yet endlessly open to interpretation.
Glad to hear this collection stirred up some memories for you.
      Cheers.
