Thanks for continuing this series - I was there...
ReplyDeleteListening to this makes me realize how ready we were for the "British Invasion" or something like that!
Cheers,
Mike M

Stephen
Thanks Stephen,
DeleteCheers.
'Hold Tight' was 1966! Thanks again for these chart sets!
ReplyDeleteOpps! you are right Paul.
DeleteIncorrectly parked the song in the wrong folder.
Cheers.
Let you off - this time! LOL
DeleteFrom Me To You - any Fab 4 UK hits?
Delete"This concludes the series In The Charts 1963"
ReplyDeleteDid I miss something? I have Jan Feb & March. Are you stopping at April?
Anyway thank you for the music, as always it's a time machine to those wonderful days.
Hi lemonflag,
DeleteNot stopping. Concludes should read continues... What was I thinking!
Cheers.
Phew!
DeleteTracks 41 How Do You Do It, 41 Rhythm Of The Rain--which is correct number? Love these "In The Charts" sets!
ReplyDeleteHi NanceeKaye
DeleteI got a little excited pulling this one together and rushed at the end. Probably best to replace track 21 with 41 as track 21 should not be here (it's a 1966 track).
Cheers.
Okay... So Gerry & The Pacemakers is now in 21 position, with "Hold Tight" deleted. Now, what goes after 41, "Cascades - Rhythm Of The Rain?" We now have missing 42... Still great set!
DeleteHi NaneeKaye.
DeleteI guess when one item in the track list is wrong then it will throw the whole numbering system out.
I this case 21 is incorrect and one of the 41's is renumbered, then it should follow that all others after should be renumbered from 42 onwards, making CD3 with only 19 tracks. Apologies for the inconvenience. Let hope the others in the series do not have the same issues.
Cheers
Thanks for the clarification... if it hadn't been for the song that didn't belong, which was deleted, we wouldn't have had a numbering problem, I would've just put Gerry & The Pacemakers in 42 position... anyway, thanks!! Have a great Easter weekend!
DeleteLooking forward to MAY 1963!
ReplyDeleteHi Paul,
DeleteThat will be posted tomorrow.
