  2. These are so awesome! I remember the first time listening to the Squirrel and the Ricketty-Racketty Bridge and being blown away. And the original version of Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet (although the remake was pretty good)! I first started getting these on LP because of Eno's Discreet Music, but Cage, Nyman, Bryars sealed it for me. And I had to get them all. If only to see what the next cover was going to be.

    1. Hi Pol.
I’m glad to hear that you’re enjoying this diverse range of music! It’s fascinating how each piece, whether it’s the whimsical “Squirrel and the Ricketty-Racketty Bridge” or the profound “Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet”, can evoke such strong emotions. Brian Eno’s “Discreet Music” is indeed a seminal work in ambient music, and it’s great to hear that it led you to explore other avant-garde composers. Their innovative approaches to composition have certainly left an indelible mark on contemporary music. The anticipation of discovering the next album cover is a joy shared by many music enthusiasts.
Keep exploring and enjoying your musical journey.
      Cheers.

  7. Oh WOW. Can't remember how many of these I own. All my vinyl is buried in a storage unit. But Discreet Music I definitely remember. Back in the day when the scratches on the record pissed me off as it interfered with the ambiance. Thanks bb.
