Hi BB
ReplyDeletethanks for another great selection
For me the Crowded House is a revelation and CSN&Y is their usual high quality
+ thanks for including the great Deborah Conway. She's persona non grata these days so it's to your credit to include her
ps. the Kenny Everett is a real hoot - so thanks for that one too
Hi baz,
DeleteReally glad this mix worked for you. Crowded House can still surprise, even after all these years, and CSN&Y always bring that familiar polish. Deborah Conway deserves to be heard regardless of the noise around her, so I’m pleased she stood out for you. And yes, the Kenny Everett set is pure mischief, happy it raised a smile.
Cheers.
Lucky Dip #513 will be perfect for the week. Packing the house the next two weeks, moving from deep South Texas Rio Grande Valley to San Antonio, TX. at the end of the month. Thanks for more great music.
ReplyDeleteHi pujwa,
DeleteThat’s a big move, packing up a house is its own marathon, and doing it over two weeks is no small task. Glad this dip can keep you company while you work through the boxes. Wishing you a smooth shift from the Valley up to San Antonio and an easy landing at the end of the month.
Cheers.
hey, thanks for your commitment to us music lovers. I downloaded the latest Buck Owens box set and listened to disc one but there were songs that must have something wrong with them. I haven't listened to all of them but at the end of the disc it was the last two tracks that were choppy and sounded bad I think it was another song, what could be the cause? greetings Bengt
ReplyDeleteHi Bengt,
DeleteThanks for the heads‑up and glad you grabbed the box. Those late‑disc glitches you’re hearing usually point to a problem during the original rip or a corrupted download.
I have just listened to my CD1, track 35 & 36 and agree, they jump around. I will redo CD1 and repost it later.
Cheers.
Here are the two tracks 35&36 of CD1 for you to update your files.
