VA - Forest Of Gold Tops In The Land Of Oz [1997] + VA - Datura Dreamtime [1999]

"Forest Of Gold Tops In The Land Of Oz" and "Datura Dreaming" subtitled "Further psychotropic experimentation in the Forest of Goldtops"  are two great compilation of Australian 60's psychedelic rarities, featuring many great Aussie bands, wonderful solid collections of garage and psych rarities that will surely appeal to underground fans. Most of these acts are totally obscure, so there shouldn't be much duplication with other Aussie comps.

You will be astonished from the music and sounds that was produced from the land of Oz. The track "Long Live Sivinanda" from the Inside Looking Out,  seems to be ahead of its time. On Datura Dreaming Also there is a Zoot B-side called "Three Jolly Little Dwarfs" (written by Keith West and Ken Burgess of the English psychedelic rock band Tomorrows ) which seem to appear on any other Zoot album.   These two Aussie compilations are consistently great!  (Amazon)
