I have been listening to these two boxsets of 70’s music on loop for a few days now and I must say it’s wonderful to listen to. The first set is VA - Buried Treasure, the 70s [2021] which has 64 tracks and the second set is VA - Buried Treasure, the 70s Diggin’ Deeper [2022] which has 66 tracks. Both sets contain a variety of music genres such as Soul, R&B, Disco, Funk, Rock & Roll, Glam, Ballad, Art Pop, Folk and World & Country. Although some tracks may have been re-recorded, these sets are a compilation of tracks that are not flogged to death in other releases. It’s pleasing to see Yellow Dog's "Just One More Night", Squeeze's "Slap & Tickle", Baccara's "The Devil Sent You To Lorado" and Fiddler’s Dram’s “Day Trip To Bangor” included. If you enjoy seventies music like me, you should enjoy these sets. They are hugely enjoyable and well-sequenced compilations. (B)
