BEATLES SONGBOOK
VA - The Beatles Songbook [2005] (3 x CDs)
Thanks to their catchy melodies, creative use of instruments and undeniable authenticity, the Beatles are one of the greatest bands of all time.
A three CD cardboard slip-sleeve compilation of Beatles' songs covers in every syles, from Joe Cocker to Frank Pourcel or original versions of some famous Lennon/McCartney's "Not-Beatles' songs". Even if it's a part of the "classic Beatles' discography, the original full versions of tracks are easily available by the Beatles themselves. Technically speaking, track 3-3 is the original version too (released 9 months before the Beatles' version). (Amazon)

Howdy. Completely unrelated to The Beatles but i figured, wot th' hell, i'll ask anyway. Do you have any Sinead O'Connor you can post at all? Like i said, doesn't hurt to ask. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHi Rikker Mortis,
DeleteAsking is always a good way of finding out.
I do have all of her albums. An amazing and complex talent that got painted with societies brush. I didn't post anything by her yet. R.I.P. Sinead. Is there something you would like?
Cheers
All i own is "i do not want" on vinyl and her best of and the 2-disc odds & ends one on cd. Other than that i'd take any and everything you were willing to post from individual albums to a Butterboy Compilation Spectacular, lol. Thank you
ReplyDeletehere is a link for Sinead O'Conner

Ah! My ever lasting gratitude for this! There's actually another album out there that i've actually never seen/heard. Her 2014 swan song called "I'm Not Bossy...I'm The Boss".
DeleteThanks BB. Again some I know and some I've never heard.
ReplyDeleteAbout Sinead this is good to read.

Thanks, lemonflag.
DeleteI appreciated the Sinead article you sent. I will read it later.
Cheers.
Sometimes it's easy to forget some of these songs were around before the Beatles existed. But some of them were better than the originals too. Many thanks BB.
ReplyDeleteHi hedspace,
DeleteI hope you are enjoying this set.
Cheers.
