Duets, or singing in pairs, represent one of the most enchanting aspects of musical storytelling. Around six years ago, BB shared a collection of duets. It was an eye-opener; I discovered songs I’d never heard before and intriguing pairings that caught my imagination. It inspired me to wonder: could I create my own compilation of perfect pairs? After much exploration and curation, this is the result.

Some duets are timelessly classic, while others might surprise you, but all of them make this collection shine. Althea & Donna are an absolute must-have, no exceptions! Aaron & Linda bring perfection to the table, and BB King, well, he’s simply one of my all-time favorite artists. 

Overdubs? Totally fair game here. Bob & Lauryn, their voices together are pure magic. And you can’t leave out Nat & Natalie; they’re an essential listen.

Oh, and there’s the rare Everly Brothers outtake; such a treat. 

I intentionally avoided duos where one of the performers played an instrument because I wanted this to be all about those glorious pairs of voices.

Personal highlights for me? Roy & k.d. delivering an unforgettable "Crying," Eric & Paul’s collaboration, the alternate America (you know, that duo), and Cat Stevens harmonizing with Yusuf a whole 50 years later. Amazing!

This set has a little humor, a few classics, and a lot of heart. Enjoy!
