This was a difficult comp to put together because there are so many songs and not all of them appear in all the productions. However, there are a few that do, so I decided to group them by song and do a multi-volume series. The first one is the opening number, "Aquarius." Be prepared for lots of gongs opening and closing the tunes (as the stage directions call for them)! Future volumes will feature "Hair," "Hare Krishna (Be-In)," "Walking in Space," and of course the closer, "The Flesh Failures (Let the Sun Shine In)." Vladimir "Vlatko" Stefanovski (born January 24, 1957) is a Macedonian folk rock and jazz rock guitar virtuoso.  He started playing guitar at the age of 13. Stefanovski was one of the founding members of LEB I SOL which became one of the most important names in the music scene of former Yugoslavia. LEB I SOL recorded 13 albums between 1978 and 1991. Stefanovski currently splits his time playing with his VS Trio, in an acoustic partnership with Miroslav Tadić or composing for film and theatre. In his early years, Stefanovski was credited for inventing a style of music known as 'ethno-rock'. This style is characterized by a fusion of classic rock and roll with folk elements, in his case from his native Macedonia. Bodan Arsovski (born 22 April 1956) is a Macedonian bassist and a core founding member of the rock group LEB I SOL. Arsovski's style, both solo and with LEB I SOL, mixes traditional Macedonian rhythms, melodies and instruments with modern rock sensibilities. The ethnic influence is more apparent in his solo albums than on many of LEB I SOL's later recordings.

Today's jazz artist is likely to pull from the avant-garde, post bop, 3rd stream and modern fusion all within the same piece. Yet as these artists draw from all these eclectic sources, we begin to see some similarities in a lot of new jazz in the 21st century.

The 21st Century Modern genre is for artists who do not easily fit into pre-existing genres such as the aforementioned, Post Bop, Avant-Garde, Fusion, or 3rd Stream, but whose music may contain elements of all those genres, as well as other elements from outside the jazz world." Only Various Artists compilations will be accepted.

Only one compilation per week from each contributor with a limit of 25 tracks per track list per submission. (Total 25 tracks only). You can submit a new track list the following week.

The Topic is your choice, Genre is your choice and any music is acceptable. (If readers don't like the topic or choices then they don't have to pick them up)

 When presenting your submission, the Topic of your compilation should be Noted as well as the sound quality of the compilation. (i.e., 320Kbps MP3, Flac, etc).

Whilst most would prefer MP3's @ 320 kbps all I request is a good sound quality. 

A track list must be supplied together with a LINK for your Compilation.  (Please do not send the compressed file)

Artwork is not necessary but would be welcomed. All submissions need to arrive via email to:

Entries must be received by Midnight, Wednesday. (Wherever you are in the world.)

Once received, your entries will be checked for content matching the track lists provided. If an entry is considered unsafe or different to the track list provided it will be deleted. If your submissions are outside the guidelines they will not be included (No questions asked and no reply)
