The world is marching unstoppable to the total replacement of the reality we are living in, with a fake one made by machines and that’s a bitter fact for those that still mind about individual personalities and human feelings.  The Artificial Intelligence has invaded in our daily habits steadily and fast and is wrecking every human activity.

The same stands for music!

A few months ago I heard a blues song by an artist I was not aware of and searching for his bio, I found that he simply doesn’t exist!                                                                   

I searched for other same songs and discovered a whole new world of non-existent artists, creatures of imagination and songs constructed by the mechanical processes of artificial intelligence. The songs sound nice, I have to say, and they have even been categorized and spread to a lot of styles, BUT …they are AI products!                                                                          

Their lyrics touch on various classic blues themes, but with a focus on unspoken sexual fantasies, which I believe “sells” the most.                                                                           

As one of the titles is “The Blues Don’t Care If It’s Man or Machine”, I thought to make a couple of blues sound compilations to share with you and I would appreciate to hear your opinion.

The recent passing of Brigitte Bardot has brought renewed attention not only to her film career (1952–1973) 

but also to her recording career (1962–1973). It is worth recalling that the singer-actress severed ties with the entertainment industry for good in 1973, when she chose to devote herself entirely to the cause of animal welfare. 

This 1960s recording period also highlighted a distinctly vintage spirit—that of a gentle rebellion that would reach its peak in May 1968. The 1960s saw the emergence of an ‘ingénue’ scene of French female singers embracing modernity and, for the most part,  taking ‘traditional French chanson’ out of the fridge… Here is a brief sample, which you can also find on many themed compilations:  Swinging Mademoiselle, Wizzz!, Pop à Paris, C’est Chic, Ultra Chicks, Femmes de Paris, Dim Dam Dingue, Ouh La la!!,  Girls in the Garage, and so on.

Throughout the last couple of decades or so, my taste in music expanded considerably.

This was mostly through participation with several music trackers.

In tribute and appreciation, I will be compiling a Trackers Collection, to share some cool music.

Each release will have two folders: "Formatted" & "Original tags & artwork".

The music in each folder is identical - the only thing that differs is imbedded tagging and artwork.

Volume 01 will focus on music I became aware of thanks to WHAT.CD, which launched in 2007, and went defunct in late 2016.

GUIDELINES.

Please use this template for future MY COMPILATION submissions.

Only Various Artists compilations will be accepted.

Only one compilation per week from each contributor with a limit of 25 tracks per track list per submission. (Total 25 tracks only). You can submit a new track list the following week.

The Topic is your choice, Genre is your choice and any music is acceptable. (If readers don't like the topic or choices then they don't have to pick them up)

 When presenting your submission, the Topic of your compilation should be Noted as well as the sound quality of the compilation. (i.e., 320Kbps MP3, Flac, etc).

Whilst most would prefer MP3's @ 320 kbps all I request is a good sound quality. 

A track list must be supplied together with a LINK for your Compilation.  (Please do not send the compressed file)

Artwork is not necessary but would be welcomed. All submissions need to arrive via email to:

Entries must be received by Midnight, Wednesday. (Wherever you are in the world.)

Once received, your entries will be checked for content matching the track lists provided. If an entry is considered unsafe or different to the track list provided it will be deleted. If your submissions are outside the guidelines they will not be included (No questions asked and no reply)
