In 2016 Steve Miller was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as a solo artist.
I've always enjoyed the Steve Miller Band, but I wouldn't consider myself anything more than a casual fan. This two CD set, however, is something of an eye/ear-opener; not a bad or weak track to be found, even among the handful of live versions of familiar Miller hits included. Some 40 tracks spread across two CD's (though not chronologically arranged), featuring such landmark Miller Band titles as Living in the USA, Space Cowboy, The Joker, Take the Money and Run, Rock 'n Me, Fly Like an Eagle, and Jet Airliner, among many, many others. It may not be perfect, but it's close; and it's the one to get if you only want one Steve Miller compilation for your collection. (Amazon)
