This compilation was, oddly enough, inspired by the recent death of Chuck Norris.
As a child of the 80's, I went through my "G.I. Joe" faze, so naturally, enjoyed the movies of Chuck Norris. In fact, there may have been a very brief period where I considered (1986) "The Delta Force" one of the best movies, like ever.
To be so young and naive……
I most definitely grew out of my love for Chuck Norris films, and am almost too frightened to look into the controversial values that he apparently stood for during the last few decades. Nevertheless, without hesitation, I can state that I very much enjoyed and appreciated the early internet phenomena known as "Chuck Norris Facts":
"When Chuck Norris does push-ups, he doesn't push himself up, he pushes the Earth down."
As always, death inspires us to reflect and recollect, which lead to my obtaining the soundtrack for "The Delta Force", composed by Alan Silvestri. He composed, according to my 11 year old self, a fairly kick ass inspiring rift for the movie. It is quite enjoyable on its own, as it very much embodies the essence of 80's cinema sound, both good and bad.
The entire soundtrack, in contrast, is considerably cringy. The vast majority of tracks repeat the leitmotif, over and over and over and over, until your ears are bleeding, reminding you of how important is the principle of "less is more".
Long story short - It inspired me to compile some of the more memorable contributions that Alan Silvestri has made for cinema throughout his career.
Reminder - For the main release, each download will have two folders: "Formatted" & "Original tags & artwork". The music in each folder is identical - the only thing that differs is imbedded tagging and artwork.

There's a tradition of more than 30 years for jam bands in particular to do special shows on Halloween and New Year's Eve, busting out unusual cover versions or sometimes covering whole albums by other artists. 2025 was no exception, but rather than the covers I've gone back to the originals in this compilation, to increase the variety.

Only Various Artists compilations will be accepted.
Only one compilation per week from each contributor with a limit of 25 tracks per track list per submission. (Total 25 tracks only). You can submit a new track list the following week.
The Topic is your choice, Genre is your choice and any music is acceptable. (If readers don't like the topic or choices then they don't have to pick them up)
When presenting your submission, the Topic of your compilation should be Noted as well as the sound quality of the compilation. (i.e., 320Kbps MP3, Flac, etc).
Whilst most would prefer MP3's @ 320 kbps all I request is a good sound quality.
A track list must be supplied together with a LINK for your Compilation. (Please do not send the compressed file)
Artwork is not necessary but would be welcomed. All submissions need to arrive via email to:

Entries must be received by Midnight, Wednesday. (Wherever you are in the world.)
Once received, your entries will be checked for content matching the track lists provided. If an entry is considered unsafe or different to the track list provided it will be deleted. If your submissions are outside the guidelines they will not be included (No questions asked and no reply)
