    1. Hi Aussie.
No need to turn back time, its all there lurking in your mind. Just bring it back through music.

      Cheers.

  4. Ahh... the easy eighties for the (so far) uneasy twenties; thanks Butter. And I like your reply to Aussie, too - we're all time travelers; we just need music, and back there we go...

    1. Hi Aging Child,
I hope you and family are getting through this pandemic situation without and hardships. Its certainly a test for our way of thinking/life today. We are so free and can do anything we want, so to be isolated is a real challenge. Peoples minds are generally aroused by getting out, eating, doing exciting thinks, traveling, meeting communally, sharing experience with contact and gathering in general. So the isolation with effect a lot of people, hopefully only for the short term. if we ALL respect each other and isolate more we will definitely slow or eliminate the spread. I think traveling will change in the future.

What am I doig... need to get focused on the music.... Some nice tracks in this compilation , Aging Child, so keep time traveling with the them.

      Stay safe.

      Cheers

    2. I concur, O phine philosopher! Fortunately, a lot of folks [i.e., our kids' ages] have long since mastered remote socialization, so they'll weather it. Myself, I've seen reduced hours (and income) from work - time I've been able to put toward household stuff and writing. My family's biggest worry right now (most of us also furloughed to one degree or another) is our invalid mother, and her fellow patients, sealed up in their nursing home. We visit her through the windows... and are troubled at how one nursing home after another has begun showing infected patients. These folks are so vulnerable, and the only things we can do to protect these people in them are passive things (beyond prayer itself), such as keeping our distance... when we want to hold them close and dare any virus to just try to get any closer.

      Hang in there!

    3. I worry for the people who wont or cant cope... The homeless and in-firmed, the starving, the uninformed and the uneducated .... May they all deal with this pandemic. Let reach out folks.
I am good here , my family are good and observing the rules of engagement... We have pets, food and music...
I had a good day today, hope you did too.

      Stay safe friend.

      Cheers

    4. Likewise! I'm mulling approaching one or more of these nursing homes to see if they could reach out to the community - particularly the closed schools - and request folks send little notes, cards, etc., to help them keep their spirits up... much as has been done around the world since WWI or earlier, with folks posted far from home, and in need of a gentle touch to the heart. The nursing homes are already terribly busy as it is, and likely even their social directors don't have the time to put toward this. I don't know how to get this going, myself... but I might know some people who do...
