The Australian cast album is different in that it's the whole musical boiled down to about ten mashups, but the performances are terrific, and I thought it'd be a great point of departure for exploring the other "Hair" tunes. The number of songs covered is greater in this and subsequent volumes, so we have to cycle through the albums quicker, thus a couple of tunes from the 50th Anniversary cast, Edmundo Ros, and the Japanese cast. But they're great cuts! And we end with eight version of the title tune. And just to let you know what you're in for next, volume 5 is called "Easy to be Frank Mills Walking in Space." Beads, flowers, freedom, and happiness, you hairy hipsters.

Please use this template for future MY COMPILATION submissions.

Only Various Artists compilations will be accepted.
Only one compilation per week from each contributor with a limit of 25 tracks per track list per submission. (Total 25 tracks only). You can submit a new track list the following week.
The Topic is your choice, Genre is your choice and any music is acceptable. (If readers don't like the topic or choices then they don't have to pick them up)
When presenting your submission, the Topic of your compilation should be Noted as well as the sound quality of the compilation. (i.e., 320Kbps MP3, Flac, etc).
Whilst most would prefer MP3's @ 320 kbps all I request is a good sound quality.
A track list must be supplied together with a LINK for your Compilation. (Please do not send the compressed file)
Artwork is not necessary but would be welcomed. All submissions need to arrive via email to:

Entries must be received by Midnight, Wednesday. (Wherever you are in the world.)
Once received, your entries will be checked for content matching the track lists provided. If an entry is considered unsafe or different to the track list provided it will be deleted. If your submissions are outside the guidelines they will not be included (No questions asked and no reply)

ReplyDeleteKraken's being wonky for me again. I tried opening a "private window" in Firefox and the DL worked smoothly from there. I used this workaround when there was an issue with WeTransfer not long ago (that eventually resolved).
My pleasure and I want to thank everyone else the same. As for the stupid kraken, I find if you get a pop up, close it and hit the button again. Eventually you get the actual download, although sometimes it takes several tries. It's why I moved to Proton

The Bastone remix is very interesting indeed! He seems talented! It also makes me think of a sort of collision of worlds between Detroit and Shamen on the English side. 1989 is a magical date in terms of dance and remixes.
