You could spend a small fortune trying to get all these songs on individual CDs. This set has it all, and I mean all the classics, plus a lot of really good extras that I haven't heard in 40+ years. They even include his version of songs made famous by other stars like Spade Cooley, Ray Price, Hank Williams, Hank Thompson, Elvis and even Jerry's real all-time idol the late, great Moon Mulligan (I'll sail my Ship Alone).  This is without a doubt a first-class gold mine. I have many of Jerry's LP's but this by far is now my favorite. For most folks this set is all the Jerry Lee that they will ever need, that's how complete it is! Anyway, this box set rocks; it's an amazing collection of the early work of Jerry Lee Lewis who was one of the early greats of the genre. When you listen to this music you cannot help but feel that all of the cool, rebelliousness, and power which are oozing from the speakers is rubbing off on you just a little bit. (Amazon)
