  1. Nice collection Butterboy, thanks for sharing it!

    1. Hi Little Bill,
I've been getting into this type of music lately, Hopefully I can post more in the near future maybe a Lucky Dip.

    2. Sorry, bit late replying to this, great review of a great selection of music!

  2. Yes, another interesting collection. BTW: it's Syl Johnson not Sly - an outstanding singer/musician, who I was fortunate to see live in a Perth pub about 10 years ago. Apart from his great singing he played fine guitar and blues harp. And I got to meet him after the show and had a bit of a chat with him. Unfortunately he passed away recently.

    1. Hi Bob Mac,
I love Syl Johnson and disappointed I didn't pick that up.
One of my first posts was a Syl Johnson box set which sit proudly on a shelf of its own.
That is a great story you messaged and I wish I was there. R.I.P. Syl.

  4. Hi Butterboy!
Brilliant comp! Many thanks for sharing! I've never paid too much attention to soul/funk music but lately I have started enjoying this kind of music since you post a lot of them.

    1. Hi Il Commendatore
      Thanks for your continued support.
Glad you like the music of which there is more to come.
