ReplyDeleteA wonderful live performer with one of the greatest live bands ever “The Blockheads”.
He famously “died” twice! - In 1998, his death was announced on XFM radio by Bob Geldof, probably a hoax from a listener!? He sadly passed too soon aged 57 in March 2000.
There are so many wonderful quotes attributed to Ian, many from his wonderful songs. Here are just two:
