This compilation of 100 blues songs by various artists was released by Wagram Music in France. The CD set contains five discs, each with 20 tracks, covering different styles and eras of blues music. Some of the artists featured in this collection are Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, and Albert Collins. 

The essential history of the blues, includes of 100 superb performances from the 1920's to 2000's. There are so many wonderful artists to enjoy on this collection.

A very interesting and serious publication for blues fans, it is absolutely priceless, and it will also appeal to just lovers of good music. (B)
