This release is a compilation of Australian rock songs from 1970 to 1990, curated by Paul Conn and released by ScreenSound Australia, the National Screen and Sound Archive, in 20021. It features 15 tracks by various artists, ranging from pop rock to hard rock, and includes some rare and unreleased songs most lifted from the B-sides of rare singles, have never before been released on CD. Some of the artists are Rattling Sabres, Sharon O’Neill, Richard Clapton, Split Enz, Ted Mulry, and Flowers. The release is intended to showcase the diversity and creativity of Australian music in that period, as well as to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the country. (B)
