VA - The 60's + 70's + 80's Summer Album [2016] (9 x CD's)

Three triple CD set of great music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. A fantastic collection. All the favourites are here plus much more. There are some hidden gems on this compilation like Everyday People by Sly and the Family Stone and Flowers on the Wall by the Statler Brothers. But what really impresses is the sound quality, the familiar tracks to sound better. One interesting note here is that the compiler has used the demo version of "Distant Drums" by Jim Reeves. This is a nice refreshing addition, as we are all used to the overdubbed chart version from 1966. (Amazon)
