JAZZ POP

VA - Reprise! When Jazz Meets Pop Vol. 01 - 03 [2005-2007] (3 x CD's)

Most of these jazz covers of rock-pop songs are really great. Especially because they do not sound like the originals.  All in all, a good set of CD's to have. I have listened to over and over again. Great driving music.

I always enjoy playing this set. Just enjoy!

    1. Hi D.
I don't know how many times I've played this set while painting and at dinner parties and just for the Paul Anka rendition of Smells Like Teen Spirit.
      Cheers.

  2. Fabulous compilation, and I hate to be pedantic... but I believe the Marvin Gaye recording of Grapevine preceded Smokey Robinson's version, both in 1968, and Gladys Knight's version in 1967 was actually the earliest recording of this song (apart from Norman Whitfield's demo I expect) :)
    All the best,
