READERS' POLL #04 VA - READERS' POLL #4 BLUES ROCK (A Butterboy Compilation) (9 x CDs)

READERS' POLL #04

VA - READERS' POLL #4 BLUES ROCK (A Butterboy Compilation) (9 x CDs)

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to all who contributed to this Readers' Poll. I understand that it was a daunting task to select only three of the greatest Blues Rock tracks. When I first came up with the idea for this Readers' Poll, it was because I myself couldn't choose just three tracks. But the contributions of each and every one of you has made this a truly special set.

Those who participated in this Readers' Poll come from all over the world, providing a broader worldwide view of what could be considered some of the greatest Blues Rock tracks of all time, so far. I appreciate each and every one of you for letting your creative juices flow and selecting some wonderful and enjoyable Blues Rock tracks.

The objective of this Readers' Poll was not to definitively identify the greatest Blues Rock artist, but simply to understand what the readers who visit here consider their greatest Blues Rock tracks. As we all have differing views of which artist that may be, the results could be exciting. The list generated includes some of the most highly regarded and widely recognized Blues Rock artists, as well as some artists you may not have generally heard of, making this wonderful Blues Rock compilation.

In my opinion, there is no better Blues Rock compilation out there that has the depth of this set. Some of the tracks submitted are more bluesy than rock-oriented, while others rock hard but use the blues as their anchor.

Where there were multiple tracks with the same artist/track I have only included the track once. There are songs that appear twice as they were from different albums/artists and differ enough to be included. There are NO dud tracks, only fantastic music that I hope many will enjoy.

For those interested, there are some statistics at the bottom of the post... Enjoy!
