Stephen's Quote of The Day: "Songwriting is a mystery. And it's a mystery to me that it's a mystery. But that sounds stupid." ...Neil Finn.

Thanks for the quote.
Only one more post to complete the set. It did come around quickly.

My pleasure, heartsofstone.Delete
You're welcome, lemonflag.Delete
BB cancel this after you read it if you wish. There are 2 songs numbered 327 and 704 & 827 are missing.ReplyDelete
I love this collection and go to it many times just fishing for songs I know and songs I don't.
I feel sure you will read this in the spirit I send it. Thanks for all you do.
I'll Sort it out and repost when I do, I will advise. It may be a while.
PS. Thanks for letting me know.Delete
I hope this helps you locate the "missing" tracks - 704 and 827 were included as duplicates in the earlier parts. The extra 327 mentioned by Lemonflag matches 827, I think the duplicate for 704 may have been numbered 204. Thanks for all the great postings.Delete
I have worked out the mystery of the track numbering errors (Apologies). Also, I will repost this set as a new main page post at a later date.
Thanks so much for this, BB. I picked up a copy of the "1001 Songs..." book and the wife and I have been listening to these in order, reading the interesting write-ups from the complementary chapters and really enjoying the process.ReplyDelete
Thats a great way to listen to these.
