Thanks again BB. The Home album is one of my favourites (I went and bought it 10 minutes after John Peel played the opening track on the radio). Saw them live twice - later various members ended up in Wishbone Ash (Laurie Wisefield), Groundhogs (Mick Cook), Bandit & ACDC (Cliff Williams). They were also Al Stewart's backing band for a period. I got all 3 of their albums - all great listening, I'm a sucker for 'concept' albums so their final album "The Alchemist' got me in the right spot. Cheers
ReplyDeleteHi LeKermitage.
DeleteI also liked them from the start. The Alchemist is a good album.
I am glad the lucky dips prove worthwhile and actually are lucky for some.
Cheers.
Thanks BB
