K Tells Vol. 11

K tells -

'Power' Play!

VA - Music Power - 20 Original Stars - 20 Original Hits (K-tel TE 309 UK) (2021 Remastered Edition) (1975)      Music Power was originally released by K-tel in the UK in 1975 on vinyl and cassette, and contained 20 smash hits. This 2021 remaster features all the complete original unedited 7" single mixes, including a few hard to find tracks, some never released on CD with a new running time of 61:39 CD length.

VA - Power House - 20 Original Hits - 20 Original Stars (K-tel TU 2460 USA - TC 233 CAN - TA 254 AUS) (2021 Remastered Expanded Edition) (1976)      Power House was originally released by K-tel in the USA, Canada and Australia in 1976. They each had different track listings. I've compiled this 2021 expanded edition to include the very best song selections from all three versions, using the latest digital remasters to create a 22 track compilation with a running time of 79:48 CD length.

VA - Pure Power - 20 Original Hits - 20 Original Stars (K-tel TU 2510 USA - TC 238 CAN) (2021 Remastered Expanded Edition) (1977)      Pure Power was originally released by K-tel in the USA and Canada in 1977. They each had different track listings.  I've compiled this 2021 expanded edition to include the very best song selections from both versions, using the latest digital remasters to create a 23 track compilation with a running time of 79:33 CD length.

Enjoy!

  1. Thanks again for the work of K, even if it's not always my cup of tea.
@doors97426 - 60's Top 100: I'd like to take this opportunity to thank doors97426 for his Top100 sixties that I'm listening to on a loop right now, really great, Thanks!

  3. Hi. A lot of the music here is great! I'm not able to completely download PT.2. Goes slow and server disconnects.
Please use something like "MEGA" or "Media Fire". I've had no trouble with these.

  6. Thanks for recreating these! The song lists are sort of head-scratchers, as always. I've always felt that K-Tel albums jammed music from all across the radio dial on to one album. Which is part of the fun of listening to them, really. These are gonna be fun! Now if I could only find my old skateboard...

  7. K! You done took me away in a time machine! I'm back at primary school in shorts! And I haven't done my maths homework! Who cares, the radio is playing all the chart hits in a dizzying soup of styles. Merci beaucoup! (And of course, thank you to our host with the most, BB. Our gratitude)
