ReplyDeleteThanks, I try to create Lucky Dips that are interesting.
The Tragically Hip's music is extremely popular in their native Canada. Its probably a parochial thing. They formed in the mid 80's but became popular in the 90's. Their sound is good but doesn't keep me wondering, whats next. They are simply a good rock band that became very famous in Canada. The Tragically Hip are so uniquely Canadian. Its is so hard to comment as they are popular for a reason, it may not be obvious to others but the fact remains they are lauded. I guess I liken it to enjoying the music of Black Sabbath, I like it but others may think differently. All music has a place and some I also don't get.
I think that you know the site here delivers an eclectic mix of music, so to me I enjoy all forms of musical sounds.
The Lucky Dips have something for everyone,hopefully. And whilst there are many surprises at times there may be music that once downloaded will be rejected.
