  1. A wonderful journey through music history, starting with Charley Patton from 1961 to Keb Mo' from 1996 - all connected with the blues - the reach into the "lucky dip" was worth it again, best thanks!

    1. HI WOODY,
Thank you for your always thoughtful comments. Lucky dips are there to surprise and to offer musical commentary.
To me blues is a real journey for the listener.
A historical base for most of the music I listen to.

I will always post some blues... and Jazz... and Rock (all genres)... and Pop and Avante-garde... and Country... and Easy Listening and anything else that may appeals to the senses.
I hope you will enjoy this journey too.

      Cheers.

  3. In the world of good music, "perfect" blues is almost a redundant term. Thank you for bringing this set together, Butter - cheers!

    1. Hi Aging Child,
I find the word perfect very cheeky in the blues context. But these are especially great sounding recordings that everyone should know about. Enjoy!

      Cheers.
