The California girl who wanted to be a Welsh witch has always been best when her mysticism and mooniness has been offset by harder-headed collaborators. Though this box set doesn't include the Fleetwood Mac stuff that made her name, it does pull together curious stuff she's done elsewhere: pre-Mac work with Lindsey Buckingham from the Buckingham Nicks days, duets with the likes of Tom Petty and Don Henley

Stevie Nicks truly kept her fans in mind when she selected the songs for "Enchanted". The three-disc set includes some really great songs there were released only on "movie soundtrack" albums: "Twisted" from the movie "Twister"; the hauntingly beautiful "Battle of the Dragon" from "American Anthem"...the song "Blue Lamp" from the "Heavy Metal" soundtrack. From the "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" soundtrack is "Sleeping Angel." The song "Somebody Stand By Me" is from the "Boys on the Side," soundtrack. She also includes some songs that were only released as "B-sides" to singles. "Thousand Days"  a beautifully upbeat ballad from her "Street Angel" line up. Again, you won't find this song on any album except "Enchanted"...and it's one of Stevie's greatest efforts. There's a rocking 8-minute live version of "Edge of Seventeen" recorded on her 1981 "White Wing Dove Tour," that was previously unreleased that is just fantastic. She includes some duets, too. "Gold," a duet with John Stewart from his album "Bombs Away Dream Babies."  Another great "find" on this box set, is the song "Reconsider Me," a beautiful song written by the late Warren Zevon. This set is a must-have for Stevie Nicks fans. The price for new copies of this box set are extremely high-priced. The reason for this is that no new copies of "Enchanted" will ever again be printed.
